The initial acupuncture treatment will be foundational to build up your deficient organ energy reserve. Treatment may involve use of tonification techniques such as electrical stimulation of the needles, and moxibustion (heating indirectly with dried herbal preparation of Artemesia vulgaris or common mugwort).
